Description: Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy's famous triple-strand Pearl Necklace was really a costume jewelry piece! She wore that Necklace both before and during her years as First Lady because of its classic style. This Necklace is best known for the iconic photograph of her holding her son, John Kennedy Jr., or "John-John", as he played with the strands.
Each White faux Pearl on these strands measures 10mm or 3/8" in diameter. They are smooth with a high luster and each strand is hand-knotted for strength. The inner strand measures 18" long, or 21" when the Clasp is included. The bottom strand nests a bit further down as this is the strand that can be looped over the top strand for a different "look". The famous fashion Designer Coco C. made this popular in the early 1920's - it's her signature style. The silver-tone Clasp is beautiful and highlighted with 9 clear and sparkling Austrian Crystals.
This quality reproduction of the First Lady Necklace comes with a Black Velour Jeweler's Pouch for Gift giving and safe storage, plus a Certificate of Authenticity.
