Other Information: Discovered in 1868 by Canadian Geologist Henry How, the beautiful Howlite stone appears in nature in colors of White and Brown. This Pin's round-cut stone is Brown with a just hint of Red. It also has slender Grey veins running through it in a random web-like pattern. It's also opaque with a lovely luster. Genuine stones are "cool" to the touch and this Pin is no exception. Since this is a natural stone, each hand-set Pin looks somewhat different from another.

Accenting the Brown Howlite are three genuine light Green Emerald stones set within the 14KT Yellow Gold plated granulated (bumpy) design. The sparkle off these stones cannot be seen in the top image due to the bright photography lighting, but we guarantee it's there! Together the color combination of Brown, Green and Gold are just beautiful! It's a great Pin to wear on a lapel, collar, turtleneck and to hold a scarf in place.
