These colorful Wooden Bracelets are imported from Kashmiri, India, located near the India/Pakistani border. Kashmiri products ares colorful and detailed, just like it's Persian heritage. Luxurious Flowers is a favorite painting theme, as are scenes reminiscent of the splendor of the Mogul civilization.

The Wooden Bracelets are carved and smoothed to prepare them for painting. A background color is applied by artisans, then each item travels to a Master Artist who sketches the design or scene. The artisans fill in the design with pigments and paint, and when dry, each is coated with lacquer for strength and protection. It's a long process that results in every item being an original - no stencils or no assembly line is used!
